Germans

Indians. They bombed Dresden. They burnt Hiroshima
to the ground and refused to sign the Kyoto
accords - in short, plenty of reasons to hold them
in contempt."

There are a lot of Germans by descent in America.
German as German can be too. Big Germans. Big mean
Germans. Germans who »voted with their feet« to
come to America and get out of weeping wagging
Germany.

Germans who came into the Ohio territory with the
expedition during the winter of 1779 to burn out
the Iriquois and the Tall Corn Confederacy of the
Shawnee Indian allies who were supporting the
British. Everybody in the Indian villages under
cover and not dispersed in hunting and fishing
camps . The whole place quiet in the snow. Kill
the sentries using tomahawks and knives and move
into formation covering the village gates. Set
fire to the place and shoot them down in volleys
as they try to come out of the gates. When the
fires had advanced throughout the village then
forcing the gate and going in to finish the job.

Once one village was down keep moving spread out
in columns and burn the fields, the grain storage
and the seedcorns bins. and cut down the orchards

No prisoners. If you can´t stomach killing the
women and the brats, leave them to freeze and
starve.

It happened.

Lot of Germans in those ranks. Those Indians
didn´t spare our women and children. What goes
around comes around, Tall Feather. You want a
taste of your own culture served up with some
German and settler organization? Payback.

Someone has to win and someone has to lose. And
wars are like that. Don´t lose a war...not ever.
Be ready to fight every day. Every man in the
settlement have a gun. Put it up over the
fireplace where you always know where it is. Teach
your son.

And Faust was the settlement Gunmaker. He made
Jager rifles with rifled barrels, German
technology. The Americans asked for longer barrels
so they could increase the range as well as the
accuracy. And then when the Americans had the Long
Rifle they took it to the Indians and showed them
what it could do. Next thing you knew we were
living in Kentucky and Tennessee also. The Indians
didn´t make guns. They had to fight for one and
unless you were a tough Indian you had to face
Americans who had guns and made them and didn´t
like you very much.

You German boys today think it was a crime to
kill Indians, huh? Think it was a crime to
genocide whole tribes and burn them out? Drive
them out, transfer them, and herd them and keep
them running? Steal their land?

You nellies. How do you think the world really
works? How would it be possible for a nation full
of men who OWNED land to live beside a culture
that had no idea of Land sovereignty? The only
reason the Indians got the idea of Land ownership
was to have it explained to him by someone with a
bucket full of shiny beads. The Indian was not
capable of anything organized beyond a hunting
party. He couldn´t organize a Company and a
Battalion and a Regiment. He couldn´t organize and
drill and fire in volley. He didn´t have Logistics
and a Battle PLAN. And he mutilated the dead and
taught us what his cultural standards were toward
prisoners.

And you are crying because he isn´t there anymore.
Well, you buy the ticket and then you have to
take the ride., don´t you now?

But, as I say, a lot of big strong Germans on the
frontier in those days and more coming every day.
Whole regions German as can be. German
Americans...and we don´t give a damn about the
Bund I can tell you. We are AMERICAN Germans. And
we don´t lose wars. And we remember who our real
friends are there, Hermann.
