- genau hier liegt das Problem, die GOP ist immer noch ein Gefangener der Trump Epigonen.

Yep.

Derweil hat sich Kevin medienöffentlich bei Trump bedankt und sinngemäß versichert, dass er ihn über die Ziellinie gebracht hätte (was wohl nicht ganz richtig ist).

Das belegt einerseits, dass Treue zum Orange Leader in der GOP weiterhin harte Währung ist; andererseits belegen 15 Wahlgänge für einen von Trump empfohlenen Kandidaten, dass sich die Epigonen einen Stück weit von Trump emanzipiert haben und selber die Bullshit-Agenda setzen.
